QUESTIONNAIRE

Is your character willing to have sex and able to give informed consent? Yes, though he's NERVOUS AF about it! He's extremely shy, introverted, and body-conscious.

What is the wish your character made? Why did they make it? His only wish is to bring his younger brother back to life. He made this wish because he has blamed himself for Ortho's death and his survivor's guilt has impacted his entire life over the last several years. He built an autonomous AI-powered magical android as a replacement, and though he loves this version of his brother, he knows it's not the same. Idia wanted to escape his family's fate as guardians of the Underworld for a short time, simply to experience life as a normal person for a day or two, and as far as he knows his attempt to leave their sealed home allowed monsters to escape from his family's research facility. Those monsters killed Ortho. Therefore, by Idia's logic, that blood is on his hands. His own life and soul exist now only to right that wrong. As much as he's tried to correct the mistake, he knows the only way to truly bring someone back to life is via methods beyond his own reach, something he hopes Decadia can achieve.

How will your character initially react to Decadia's setting? He'll be extremely comfortable with the level of technology present, maybe even giddy about it! The sex part (especially being observed by who knows how many people) will make him anxious, but he'll push himself to do it solely for the sake of his wish. Idia isn't normally one to explore, more comfortable in the safety of his room, but the promise of technology will encourage him to leave his assigned space more readily. He'll even be willing to teach others about tech in exchange for favors. Also, if he finds a way to contact those running the city directly, he'll immediately ask for more direct access to tech and possibly a job managing their systems, even if it means giving them the voyeuristic jollies they want.

What are you most interested in doing with your character in Decadia? I want Idia to realize he has value as a person. He thinks he's ugly, weird, and worthless except for his genius brain, and that his only barrier to getting laid is other people being repulsed by him. I want him to see that he can make connections with others who won't judge him in the way his extreme self-loathing makes him imagine. He needs to discover who he is beyond a tech genius and Ortho's brother/"killer." He can be rude and blunt, hiding behind passive-aggressive insults or sycophantic pleas, but it's mostly a defense mechanism: if people find nothing of value in him, they'll leave him to his own devices. He can still have meaningless sex without attachments, right? Decadia wants him to fuck, not fall in love. They get what they want, he gets what he wants, and then he can go home with his brother and forget all this ever happened. (Or so he thinks, I'm not letting him get off that easily.)

What aspect of sex appeals to your character the most? At first there won't be any appeal, but as he experiences it he'll find the physical pleasure drowns out a lot of his anxiety and depression for a time. After that realization, he'll chase the high, something that lets him feel "normal" in a way few things can. He'll end up as a switch, each side of things providing him with different ways of escaping his normal dreary thoughts. Topping will give him a sense of control, when his life has always been at the whims of other forces. Bottoming will allow him to let go of everything, to be truly at another's mercy in a way that mentally absolves him of responsibility.

What kinks does your character have, known or unknown to them? Why do they have those particular kinks? It's heavily implied in canon that Idia has a collection of FREAKY anime porn. While he could never imagine doing any of what's pictured in said collection, he's going to discover quite a few kinks in his time in Decadia. Tentacles, toys, foodplay with sweets, bondage/light punishment (playing into his survivor's guilt), body transformation/modification (especially cybernetics), and monsterfucking will all appeal to him in time. If it's something that pings his otaku brain, he'll likely try it with a bit of convincing. He'll also develop a thing (is it a kink or not??) for post-sex cuddling and being the focus of aftercare, since he's touch-starved (much as he'll deny it). Soft kinks like cockwarming or temperature play can make good introductions to kink for him since they're not as obvious and make good foreplay. He will know NONE of this at the start, have fun teaching him!

Anything else? Idia will do things for tech. Give him parts, let him build stuff, he will make sex toys and machines that will make their benefactors drool. Give him part time work maintaining systems! Buy his compliance via his nerdy little heart!
